HELPER/PARKER, ARIZ.- Carole Irene Perrero, 67, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully Jan. 30, 2011, in the warmth of the Arizona sun.
Carole was born on Jan. 12, 1944, in Somerset, Colo., to Emmett Franklin (Mac) and Dora Mae McFadden.
She married the love of her life, Tom Perrero, Jr. on May 1, 1965.
Carole enjoyed boating and camping. Later in life, she felt brave and began jeep riding. She was an artist who loved oil painting, pastels and coloring with her grandchildren. Carole was also a talented pianist. Gardening and watching the quail and hummingbirds were her joys of summer. Pepsi was her favorite drink, no wait it was Coke, no Pepsi, no Coke, well maybe Dr. Pepper.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Perrero; two daughters, Monica Perrero and Tiffany (Lin) Hsu; six grandchildren; brother, Jim McFadden; brother in law and sister-in-law Tom and Bernadette Paluso; aunt, Betty Goldrick; and many friends who have been more like family.
Memorial Mass, Saturday, April 9, 2011, 10 a.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church, 5 South Main, Helper. Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service. Committal, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper.
