Minor injuries in one-car rollover

Carbon County law enforcement and public safety rescue officials responded to a single vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 6 Wednesday afternoon. According to preliminary reports, the vehicle's female driver lost control while driving southbound along the highway just north of the Carbon Country Club Golf Course. After exiting the highway, the vehicle reportedly crossed Consumer's Road and climbed a small berm before rolling onto the driver's side and coming to a rest. While the incident did slow traffic along the highway and the adjacent Consumers Road intersection, no other vehicles were involved in the incident, which resulted in the driver being transported to Castleview Hospital with mild injuries. Officers on scene said that controlled substances were being investigated as a possible cause of the crash.
