It may not have produced wins, but Coach Paur was happy about the way his team was shooting as they finished up their final regular season road swing. On Thursday night EU lost a tough game to CSI 82-72. On Saturday the Lady Eagles had a very good night from the field, but NIC was unstoppable and rolled over the top of them with an 83-57 win.

Coach Dave Paur watched his team hold their own on Thursday night as they opened up over CSI. They even led for periods of time before falling behind by five at the break.

For a team that at times struggled to get their shots to fall through out the season, in this game they were hitting 46 percent.

The second half matched the first as CSI out scored the Lady Eagles by five again to end up with a ten point victory.

The two team scoring leaders for EU were again the team leaders. Bruna Deichmann put up 24 while Priscila Santos followed with 20.

On Saturday afternoon, NIC demonstrated why they were on top of the SWAC. While EU was hitting a respectable 56 percent from the field, NIC was popping in 61 percent and running away with the game. They had a 24- point lead over EU at the break.

The Eagles were able to slow them down in the second half, but that just delayed the inevitable and in the end it was a lopsided loss. Deichman hit another 25 points and Santos added 22.

The Lady Eagles get to face Snow in the first round of the SWAC tournament on Thursday.

They beat Snow in the last meeting and hope to repeat that again to earn a chance to meet SLCC on Friday. They have also beaten SLCC this season and would like to give it one more shot.
