'The Foreigner' opens Thursday at Geary

Caine College of the Arts and USU/CEU will open Larry Shue's "The Foreigner" Feb. 10. This comedy involves a painfully shy man named Charlie, who is invited by his friend Froggy, to accompany him to Georgia. Charlie is terrified of conversation so Froggy tells the innkeeper he is from an exotic foreign country and speaks no English. The cast includes some familiar local faces from Price and Castle Dale as well as cast from St.George, Olympus High School, Moab, Scotland, Spanish Fork, Texas and more. "The Foreigner" runs from Feb.10-15 with curtain times at 7:30 p.m. in the Geary Theater. A Saturday matinee performance on Feb.12 is scheduled at 2pm with no Sunday performance. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for USU-CEU faculity /staff and non-USU-CEU students, and $3 for USU Eastern students with current student ID.
