This legal notice is a correction to the previous notice published on
November 23, 2010 in the Sun Advocate.  The previous legal notice
incorrectly made reference to the Emery County Progress.  A new appeal
period will start from the date that this corrected notice is

The Ferron/Price District Ranger has decided to continue to
reauthorize cattle grazing on the Gentry Mountain C&H Allotment
containing roughly 30,000 acres of National Forest System land by
issuance of a Term Grazing Permit.  To address the issue of riparian
resources and species composition a new grazing system will be
initiated.  A revised allotment management plan will be prepared
describing a new grazing system, improvements and monitoring. 

The Responsible Official is:  Darren Olsen, Ferron/Price District
Ranger, Manti-La Sal National Forest.  A copy of the Decision Notice,
Finding of No Significant Impact, Environmental Assessment, and other
associated environmental analysis documents are available for public
review at the Manti-La Sal National Forest Ferron/Price District
Office, 115 West Canyon Road, Ferron, Utah 84523 or on the project
website at .

This decision is subject to appeal pursuant to Forest Service
regulations at 36 CFR 215.  Appeals must meet the content requirements
of 36 CFR 215.14.  Only individuals or organizations that submitted
comments or otherwise expressed interest in the project during the
comment period may appeal.  Appeals must be postmarked or received by
the Appeal Deciding Officer within 45 days of the publication of this
notice in the Sun Advocate.  This date is the exclusive means for
calculating the time to file an appeal.  Timeframe information from
other sources should not be relied on.  Incorporation of documents by
reference is not allowed.  The Appeal Deciding Officer is the Forest
Supervisor, Pam Brown.  Appeals must be sent to:  Appeal Deciding
Officer, Intermountain Region USFS, 324 25th Street, Ogden, Utah
84401; or by fax to 801-625-5277; or by email to: .  Emailed appeals must be
submitted in rich text (rtf), Word (doc or docx) or portable document
format (pdf) and must include the project name in the subject line.

regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through

If no appeal is received within the 45-day time period, implementation
of this decision may begin on, but not before, the 5th business day
following the close of the appeal filing period.  If an appeal is
received, implementation may not occur for 15 days following the date
