Notice To Contractors


	The Carbon County Municipal Building Authority (CCMBA) is seeking the
services of qualified CONTRACTORS to provide input during the design
process and provide construction services for the improvement of Nine
Mile Canyon Road within Carbon and Duchesne Counties.  Work includes
approximately 36 miles of earthwork, grading, drainage, dust
suppressant, chip-seal surfacing, safety, erosion control, and related
items.  The Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is
$13,000,000 to $15,000,000.  Using this Request for Qualifications,
the CCMBA will create a short list of the best-qualified contractors
that will be eligible to submit proposals for the project.  The
contractor will be selected using a best value selection process.

	If interested in submitting a Statement of Qualifications,
information on the Request for Qualifications will be available
November 11, 2010, and may be obtained via the internet by accessing 
the Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc. (JDE) internet website at:; or by contacting Garrett McMullin, PE, at

	A Mandatory meeting for CONTRACTORS interested in submitting
Statements of Qualifications will be held on Tuesday, November 30,
2010, at 10:00 a.m., at the Carbon County Administration Building, 120
East Main Street, Price, UT  84501.

	The deadline for submitting a Statement of Qualifications is 2:00
p.m. on December 7, 2010.  Deliver all Statements of Qualifications
to:  Carbon County Municipal Building Authority, c/o Robert Pero,
County Clerk, 120 East Main Street, Price, UT  84501.
