Christmas tree permits will be on sale at the Supervisor's Office of the Manti-La Sal National Forest beginning Nov. 15 at a cost of $10 each.
The office, located at 599 W. Price River Drive, Price, is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, the Supervisor's office will open two Saturdays, Nov. 27 and Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Christmas tree permit sales.
For customer convenience, permits will also be sold at the Castle Country Regional Information Center at the USU/CEU Prehistoric Museum. It is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The cost for permits is the same regardless of where they are purchased.
In addition, the Forest will be selling tree permits through the mail. Customers should send a request for the permit, provide their name, mailing address, phone number, and a check for $10 in an envelope marked "Attention: Christmas Tree Sales." A permit will be sent to them by return mail. Orders can be sent to the Manti-La Sal National Forest at any of the following mailing addresses:

There is a limit of three permits per person. Purchasers will need to provide a check or exact change. Forest Service Offices are not equipped to accept debit or credit cards or make change.
Customers traveling long distances for permits should call in advance to determine if permits are still available.
