Looks fast even while sitting still

The Lamborghini Murcielago that mechanics Glen Johansen (left) and Kyle Adair are admiring will top out at 205 mph, but it's not going anywhere until they repair the wheel on its mobile showroom. The car was on the way to Grand Junction, Colo., when the van tire came off in Helper Thursday night because of a bad bearing. It was towed to Alan Staker's Tunex shop in Price for repairs. "Alan was excited just to see it," said Johansen. "He was like a little kid and called me to come an see it." Sorry, no rides for the mechanics. The car's 640 hp engine will take it from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Base price is a little under $400,000, but Johansen and Adair said they'd been told by the carrier driver that this one would go for about $480,000 if it was for sale. This is the car that Maverik will be giving away in its "Win Me!" contest.
