Goose Neck Dinosaur prepration - Every weekday, Monday through Friday, from 2 pm to 5 pm, at the USU-CEU Prehistoric Museum, 155 East Main Street - Price, Utah, you can see preparation taking place on a jacketed portion of the Goose Neck Dinosaur. This event is open to the public at regular admission rates (free for members). You will be able to speak one on one with John Bird, the paleontology field and lab manager, and witness how the preparation on a discovery takes place once it has been retrieved from the field. This continuation of the Goose Neck Dinosaur Excavation is a wonderful opportunity for the public to see first-hand how dinosaurs are discovered and what happens after they are. Carbon County Family Support and Children's Justice Center - offers crisis care for families with children from infants to 11 years old.
The crisis nursery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Residents may use the nursery for respite, doctor and mental health appointments, court appearances, medical emergencies, family crisis, support meetings, divorce classes and to escape domestic violence.
Parenting classes are scheduled Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
The center is also collecting donations for displaced families. Furniture items will be accepted only if the center has families in need.
