Invitation To Bid Request For Qualifications And Proposal Carbon County Fairgrounds Project - Bleacher Removal

    
The Carbon County, Utah Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed
bids for the purchase of sixteen sets of aluminum bleachers from the
Carbon County Fairgrounds.  Each set of bleachers consist of 10 seats
high and are 20' deep.  Two sets are 30' long and fourteen sets are
15'long.  The bleachers are set in concrete and must be removed by the
successful bidder.  All bids must contain the name and qualifications
of a licensed contractor with adequate insurance to cover the project
that will perform the dismantling and removal of the bleachers. A
contract between Carbon County and successful bidder's contractor will
be required.  All bids must indicate that the dismantling and removal
will be completed between September 13 and September 20.  

	Sealed bids will be accepted at the office of the County Clerk,
Robert Pero, located at the Carbon County Courthouse, 120 East Main
Street, Price, Utah 84501 until 2:00 p.m., August 18, 2010.  Proposals
will be opened at a Commission meeting scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on
August 18, 2010, at the Carbon County Courthouse, 120 East Main
Street, Price, Utah 84501. 

	NOTE:  On the outside of the envelope mark in red "Sealed Bids for
Carbon County Fairgrounds Bleacher Removal".

	Carbon County is not responsible for bids that are received late due
to delays in delivery by any source.  Faxed bids are not accepted. 
Carbon County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to
waive any informality of any bid and to select the bid which in the
opinion of the County provides the best product, warranty and/or
service for the County.

	All of the bids will be evaluated by the County to determine the
ability of each bidder and its contractor to perform their work in a
satisfactory and timely manner.  The County may select the successful
bidder from the bid statements submitted or may elect or request a
short list of finalists to attend an interview with the County for
final selection.
