Chris Moody, of Provo, won the 2010 Tony Basso GM Black Diamond Open after shooting a 66 on Saturday and 66 on Sunday, finishing at -8 under par. Moody is now a two-time winner of the event, also winning the tournament in 2007.
Tom King, golf professional at Carbon Country Club, said the Pro-Am event on Friday brought out 26 teams of five, totaling 130 golfers. The Black Diamond Open, the Saturday-Sunday event played over 36 holes, brought out 165 amateurs and 44 professionals.
On Sunday, the tournament was delayed due to inclement weather for over an hour and a half. Golfing resumed after the lighting left the area.
