A closer view of Castle Country

Jon Bailey of Ferron captured this image of a common garden spider a few days ago, showing in detail the eyes and mouth parts. It gives a glimpse of a world seldom seen. Most Castle Country arachnids are harmless, but two types, the black widow and brown recluse, are venomous. Be careful around wood piles, sheds and rocks where they live.
