Veterans Memoriam - American Legion Price Post #3 and the VFW Miner's Post #2379 and Price Marine Corps League are joining together to honor veterans from all wars with a special service May 31 at 11:00 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial in the Price City Cemetery. Carbon County Family Support and Children's Justice Center - offers crisis care for families with children from infants to 11 years old.
The crisis nursery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Residents may use the nursery for respite, doctor and mental health appointments, court appearances, medical emergencies, family crisis, support meetings, divorce classes and to escape domestic violence.
Parenting classes are scheduled Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
The center is also collecting donations for displaced families. Furniture items will be accepted only if the center has families in need.
