Paul and Phyllis Andrews

Paul and Phyllis Andrews, of Vernal, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on June 5, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the LDS Meeting house located at 250 N. 200 W., in Vernal.

The couple was married June 4, 1960 in the Manti Temple and has lived in various communities in Utah, Wyoming and Virginia. Both grew up in Carbon County, with Paul graduating from Utah State University.

They are the proud parents of Greg Andrews (Jeanette) of Bluffdale; Chris Andrews (Cary) of Little Rock, Ark.; Lynne Herfel (Dee) of Syracuse; and Sheli Monson (Kirt) of Vernal. The Andrews have 15 grandchildren. Paul enjoys any outdoor activity and retired in Vernal after working for nearly 40 years with the Bureau of Land Management. Phyllis enjoys genealogy, music and crafts.

Both have served in various positions within the LDS Church, recently returning home from serving in the Indiana Indianapolis Mission.

They are currently serving as Temple workers in the Vernal Utah Temple.
