Go fly a kite ...

Dozens of children and their parents showed up on on a beautiful clear Saturday, March 20 to celebrate Free Kite Day at the Model Airplane Airport near the Carbon County Fairgrounds. The first 250 children received a free kite, while free hot dogs and soda were served courtesy of KUSA (Eagle) Radio, the Price Kiwanis Club, Carbon County Recreation, Carbon County Fairgrounds, Swift's Stop and Shop, TK's Pro Shop, Wal-Mart, Market Express, R and A Market, Coca-Cola and Fresh Market.
