Michael Glover scored a game-high 28 points and CEU rode a 33-29 halftime lead to spoil North Platte's (Neb.) first ever appearance in Hutchinson, defeating the Knights, 71-62 in the opening round of the 2010 NJCAA basketball tournament in Hutchinson, Kan., Tuesday, March 16. North Platte was down by as many as 15 in the first half but went on a 12-0 run towards the end of the half. Eastern Utah led, 47-42 midway through the second half, but let North Platte get within two, 60-58, with only 3:50 to play. CEU's Jonathan Mills hit a three-pointer with less than two minutes to play that ended up being the deciding factor in the contest. The Eagles will now play Wallace State (Ala.) on Thursday.
