Salt Lake Community College brought Haley Holmstead, who is the leading scorer in the nation, to town. She dropped 29 points and went 9-9 from the free-throw line. According to head coach Dave Paur, SLCC is ranked second for a reason. His team lost focus and the defense brokedown against SLCC. The Eagles sent SLCC to the line 19 times and the Bruins were able to use those chances to make 15 of those 19 shots. CEU struggled to control the ball and SLCC took advantage of the oportunities they were presented. Bruna Deichmann led the Eagles with 23 points. She hit three from beyond the arc and made both her free throws for the evening.

Her effort was intense but the rest of the team was not able to support her with double digit points. Kaylie Robison led the team with rebounds pulling down eleven.

The home crowd did little to rally their team as very few times did the BDAC ever get loud during the game. With a huge turnout it should have been easy to show support but the zeal was lacking.
