Hot off the win over Emery, the Carbon Dinos continued to roll as they took a decisive 65-45 win over Manti on Wednesday night. Then Juab put an end to the four game winning streak as they handed Carbon a 74-61 loss.

On Wednesday night in front of a home crowd, everything was hitting for the home town boys. They went up early on the Manti Templars and never looked back.

Keny Seals went hard to the hole to score 15 for the Dinos and pulled in 10 rebounds. Justin Child came off the bench and made his presence felt with 13 points and nine boards. Beau Rich added 12 including a pair of three's.

"We played well and kept ourselves out of foul trouble," remarked Coach Ted Bianco about the win.

"Our defense was good and we had a variety of scores. It was a good follow up to the win over Emery."

Carbon started off hot again on Friday night against Juab. But fouls would be their down fall. The Dinos led after the first quarter by 11 points, but as the officials blew the whistle over and over, the Dino bench could not sustain the momentum.

By the end of the half, fortunes had change and Carbon was down by two. They never quite found the rhythm again and the game slipped further and further from their grasp.

Clint Finkbiner was the top producer for Carbon with 19 points. He hit four from beyond the arc. Daniel Peczuh had a good night deep as well. He threw in three from down town and ended with 11 points. Keny Seals added 12.

Bianco summed up the loss, "Juab played hard and is a good team. We started out good then got into foul trouble and didn't get the same from our bench. We also got out played on the boards and at the free throw line. You just can't win games like that."

The Dinos will now hit the practice floor hard until after Christmas when they will head to the Hodson Tournament in Richfield, Dec.28-30.
