The trip to Rangely Colorado was just what the doctor ordered for a struggling Lady Eagle team. Grabbing their second conference win of the season, CEU dropped Colorado Northwestern 80-69.
The team only held a two point lead as they went into the locker room at the half. It was a great second half effort that let them cruise to the win.
A much improved shooting effort in the last half of the game had them hitting 51 percent from the field while holding their opponent to 28 percent.
Kaylie Robison put up a monster double-double with 28 points and 18 boards.
She was 12 of 18 from the field. Bruna Deichmann added 21 points and Maddie Hines finished with 12.
The team will hold a scrimmage game with Lethbridge College out of Canada on Thursday Dec.17 down in Castle Dale in the Emery High gym. Tip-off will be at 5 p.m.
