Pinnacle boys edge out Paradigm

Pinnacle's Chad Martino fights to find a hole through the much taller line of Paradigm players as Austin Welch moves in to help. Pinnacle edged out Paridigm in the final four seconds of the game to take the win.

The Pinnacle Academy Panthers took on Paradigm Academy on Friday night. The Panthers came out on top 50-47 in a game that wasn't decided until the final seconds of the game.

This is the second meeting of the two teams this season. Paradigm took the first game and Pinnacle was looking to even the score. The battle was hard fought all game. The Panthers trailed most of the game and took its first lead in the final quarter. Demetri Hullings hit two crucial three pointers, both after Paradigm had hit a three of their own. MJ Taberna came off the bench to ignite the team and lead them back after Pinnacle trailed by nine.

Hullings put up 16 points and 12 rebounds for a double-double.

Julian Garcia also had a double-double game with 11 points and 18 rebounds. Austin Welch added 14 and nine rebounds.
