Carbon County Recreation is currently taking registrations for the ski bus to Sundance Ski Resort. Trips begin in early January, but space is limited so interested parties should register as soon as possible.
CCR has provided the ski bus since the winter of 2006. Sundance Ski resort was the first destination in 2006 and the last three years have been spent at the Park City Mountain Resort.
This year CCR will return to Sundance for four trips throughout the winter months. Scheduled trip dates are Jan. 30, Feb. 6 and 20 and Mar. 6.
There will be a mandatory information meeting on Monday, Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. in the Computer Business Building on the campus of the College of Eastern Utah. Anyone who registers for the ski bus will have to attend this meeting.
The bus will leave the Price Community Development Complex at 6:30 am sharp. Participants are being advised to be there around 6 a.m. so that they have time to load their gear and other various tasks. The bus will also stop at Swift's Stop and Shop at 6:45 a.m. for anyone who is participating from the Helper area.
The cost is $215 for ages 13 and up and $140 for children six to 12. Fees include transportation and lift passes. For more information call Carbon County Recreation at 636-3702.
