Food handlers classes - Two-hour sessions are scheduled Sept. 8 at 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Southeastern Utah Health District in Price. Classes will also be taught Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the health department in Castle Dale. Test fees are required and cards are valid for three years. Free legal clinics - Utah Legal Services has scheduled free clinics the second and fourth Monday of the month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 7th District Court complex, located at 149 East 100 South in Price. Carbon County Family Support and Children's Justice Center - offers crisis care for families with children from infants to 11 years old.
The crisis nursery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Residents may use the nursery for respite, doctor and mental health appointments, court appearances, medical emergencies, family crisis, support meetings, divorce classes and to escape domestic violence.
