Individually, Kelcy Otani finished region play with the second highest aggregate score of 224. Lexi Gagon has really come on strong in the last two tournaments. She led the team with 28 points at the Salem Hills match. She finished fifth in the region. Shelby Wilson rounded out Carbon's top three with a ninth place finish in individual region play.

Coach Kenji Otani summed it up.

"I am very happy with the way my girls played," he said. "Our goal was to finish second in the region. But with this being our first year; third place and a trip to the state tournament, this team is amazing."
