Company officials announce workforce modification at Horizon Mine

On Feb. 18, Horizon Mine Manager Joe Fielder confirmed that there has been a temporary workforce reduction at the local underground mining facility.

"We are restructuring the company to make it more efficient,” said Fielder via telephone interview on Wednesday afternoon. "We have had a reduction in workforce that we anticipate will be short term."
