Carbon kids watch predator feeding at CEU museum

Local children and adults were treated to reptiles galore as water monitors devoured live prey including two full grown mice and half a dozen small gold fish.

Local children and adults were treated to reptiles galore as water monitors devoured live prey including two full grown mice and half a dozen small gold fish. All prey must be live for the monitors, however the soft shell turtles preferred their prey dead before consumption.
