The Mont Harmon Jr. High Pirates completed another successful season by defeating the Helper Rams 41-0. Mont Harmon finished the season with a perfect 7-0 record and claimed the Castle Valley Activities Association title for the fourth year in a row.

Offensively, Mont Harmon gained a total of 452 yards, 256 on the ground and another 196 in the air, while the Pirate defense remained solid once again giving up only 50 yards the entire game. The offensive attack was led by Jordan Blanc with 123 yards rushing, 100 yards receiving and 50 yards passing with four touchdowns. Dustin Norried and Kayden Feichko each had outstanding games running the ball. At the quarterback position, Dakota Cisneros and Tanner Gagnon were a combined 8-11 for 196 yards passing while J.J.Morley had another standout performance at the receiver position with 3 catches for 85 yards and a touchdown.

"I feel our offensive line deserves a lot of credit," said coach Jeff Cisneros. "I reminded them each week that our success depends on them and they have always stepped up to the challenge."

Defensively, Daulton Nelson played a great game which included several tackles and an interception. Anywhere I put Daulton on the Defensive side of the ball, he makes big plays. Oswaldo Loaiza, Tanner Gagnon J.J. Morley Dustin Norried and Jordan Blanc also led the defensive charge stifling their opponents all year.

"I am proud of the team effort and commitment all year long. Our guys began lifting and conditioning the first part of July and I feel as the season went on we became stronger, faster and in excellent condition," concluded Blanc.
