Eva Kendrick will celebrate her 90th birthday at an open house Aug. 31.

She was born Sept. 1, 1912 in Gadsden, Ala.

The birthday open house will be presented from 2 to 4 p.m. at Harmony House, located at 255 South Main Street in Helper.
