Greek Festival Days - will be presented July 11 and July 12 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, located at 61 South 200 East in Price.
The no admission cultural event will include authenic Greek food and pastries, entertainment, prize drawings, children's games, a gift shop and church tours.
Carbon High 2008 graduates - are encouraged to pick up diplomas at the school office as soon as possible.
Transcripts will be available upon request.
Report cards will be mailed. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., except during lunchtime.
Sunnyside Community Daze - The celebration will be presented July 12 at Sunnyside park.
Breakfast will be served from 7 to 10:30 a.m., followed by the parade.
The event will include entertainment, a car show, food and craft booths, class reunions and a climbing wall.
The Grassy Trails Rodeo is slated to start at dusk July 11 and July 12.

Food handers classes - Two-hour sessions are scheduled July 22, Aug. 19 and Sept. 30 at 9 a.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the public health department in Price.
Classes will be taught July 17, Aug. 14 and Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the health district in Castle Dale.

Learn to speak English - Small group sessions are scheduled Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m. at the LDS Church located at 150 South 500 East in Price.
Gallery East - Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Immunization clinic hours - Clinics are scheduled at Southeastern Utah Health District Monday through Thursday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Women's cancer screening - Women 50 years of age or older may qualify for a free breast and cervical cancer exams and mammograms.
For information, call the public health district at 637-3671. Women ages 40 to 49 may qualify for a low-cost exam.
Free legal clinics - Utah Legal Services has scheduled free clinics the second and fourth Monday of the month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 7th District Court complex, located at 149 East 100 South in Price.
Residents should bring all pertinent documents pertaining to legal questions.

Carbon County Animal Shelter - AVID chip pet identification is available at the shelter. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Carbon County RSVP - Residents who would like to lend a helping hand or need the assistance of volunteers may contact the Price RSVP program at 637-9118 or call the East Carbon office.
Carbon County Family Support, Children's Justice Center - offers crisis care for families with children from infants to 11 years old.
The crisis nursery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Residents may use the nursery for respite, doctor and mental health appointments, court appearances, medical emergencies, family crisis, support meetings, divorce classes and to escape domestic violence.
Parenting classes are scheduled Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
The center is also collecting donations for displaced families.

Price library - Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., closed Saturday and Sunday.
Story time is scheduled Monday at 11 a.m. for toddlers, Tuesday and Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Thursday at 1 p.m.
English as a second language classes are Monday and Thursday at 6 p.m. Basic literacy classes are scheduled as needed.

Helper beautification project - focuses on improving Main Street, the river walkway and city cemetery. Donations may be placed in piggy banks at various businesses or deposited in the Helper community development account at Balance Rock Credit Union, 100 West 200 North.
Carbon Family Resource Center - Story time is Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. The free lending library open to the community includes items for children, teens, parents and grandparents.
