Letter to the Editor: College matches award

The College of Eastern Utah and Todd Olsen should be congratualated for being the first college in the state of Utah to match the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) Education award.

CEU has agreed to offer scholarships to national service alumni matching the Corporation for National and Community Service Education Award. Any former national service member who may be interested in this program, should complete a CEU scholarship application, once approved, CEU will waive tuition fees, allowing the national service member to use the education award to buy books, pay administrative fees, or assist with campus housing. Eligible National Service alumni include; AmeriCorps*VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America), National Civilian Community Corps, and AmeriCorps state/national.
