CEU Ladies Dominate Treasure Valley

Tara Powell comes away with a tough steal against Treasure Valley Community College

Treasure Valley Community College did not walk away with any treasure on Monday night.

The CEU women were the ones that captured the gold and walked away with the victory instead. Overwhelming TVCC in a lopsided win CEU evened their season to 4-4 with a 76-42 conquest of their opponent.

The team took control of the game early with good defense. Forcing their opponent to make 22 turnovers, they only gave up the ball 14 times. Elisha Harris had been nursing a knee injury and has only recently returned to the line up, but she continues to make her presence felt.

She and Haley Rogers hit 12 points apiece to lead the Eagles in scoring.

Jenny Fisco also joined the double figure scoring with 10 points on the night.

Staci Little contributed to the victory with eight blocks and Mallory Holm was hot on the boards with seven rebounds. It was a good solid balanced effort from the team.

Every player, but one put some points on the scoreboard.

The player that didn't add to the offensive attack did scoop in 3 offensive rebounds to help out her team.
