Hal MacKnight, publisher of the Sun Advocate between 1934 and 1966 stands between A.N. Rytting of the Tremonton Leader, and Norman Fuellenbach of the Richfield Reaper in this 1949 photo after the three were elected officers of the Utah Press Association. MacKnight served as president of the assocation that year and now is being inducted in the UPA Hall of Fame.
