Job's Daughters - Bethel 3 of Price Utah of Job's Daughters International has resumed meetings for the spring term. September 4, 5 and 6 - 4-D Youth Barrel Race, 5-D Open Barrel Race, 3-D Senior Races. NBHA Utah State Finals, October 9, 10 and 11 - 4-D Youth Barrel Race, 5-D Open Races, 3-D Senior Races. Open to all Runners - do not need to be a member to run, but to be eligible for district points, year end awards and to participate at Utah NBHA Finals you must be a member. Stick it to Cancer 3-D Target Competition - North Springs Archery Club and CNS are teaming up to "Stick it to Cancer" with a 3-D target shoot June 27 and 28. There will be 20 3-D targets and the cost is $20 for the Competition, $15 for fun, and $10 for ages 17 and under. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Sunnyside 65th Annual Rodeo Royalty Contest - June 28 at the Sunnyside arena. Royalty consists of Queen, 1st & 2nd attendant - ages 13 and up. Attendants may compete until they make Queen. 2 princesses -12 years and under may reign for 2 years as princess and then compete for Queens court at age 13. The contestants age is their age on the day of the contest. Contestants must ride their horses in a given pattern, ride in the parade on Saturday, July 13, and move the cattle during the rodeo. Food Handlers Classes - held at the Southeast Utah Health Department. Classes will be held on June 16 at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in Price, and on June 18 at 4 p.m. in Castle Dale. SEUHD is located at 28 S. 100 E. in Price, and at 25 W. Main St. in Castle Dale.

Photography Classes - Photo group hosted by Carbon Recreation is holding photography classes on the second Thursday of each month. The classes are held in the Carbon Recreation Building class room at 6:00 p.m. All participants are welcome from beginner to advanced photographers. We have something for everyone.
