Free Horse Packing Workshop - Conducted by the San Rafael Backcountry Horsemen. Come learn how to pack for work or play using various techniques or to demonstrate how you pack. If you are an experienced packer please come share your knowledge. If you have never packed and are just interested in learning about horse camping please come as well. There will de demonstrations using barrels on saddle stands with plenty of practice time for everyone who would like to give it a try. Photography Classes - Photo group hosted by Carbon Recreation is holding photography classes on the second Thursday of each month. Carbon County Family Support and Children's Justice Center - offers crisis care for families with children through 11 years old.
The crisis nursery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Residents may use the nursery for respite, doctor and mental health appointments, court appearances, medical emergencies, family crisis, support meetings, divorce classes and to escape domestic violence.
Parenting classes are held on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 2:30. Please call ahead to reserve a spot in the class.
