Franny Henrie and Lisa Critchlow celebrate their retirement Oct. 27. Henrie has been cutting hair in Helper since 1975 and has been doing so at Franny's Barber Shop on Main Street in Helper since 1976. Her sister-in-law, Critchlow has been her partner since 1983. It took the pair a year to finally make the decision to retire. "The people who get their hair cut here are losing their barber but me and Lisa are losing hundreds of friends and they will all be missed," said Henrie.
