Carbon takes out Emery, heads top state this weekend

A Carbon player battles with two Lady Spartans over the net in Monday nights last regular season volleyball contest at the Spartan Center in Castle Dale. While Emery's season is now over, Carbon will head into the state tournament on Friday with a 5-2 Region 8 record, second only to North Sanpete who is undefeated in the league this year. The Lady Dinos will play Logan High School in the first round, the number three seed from Region 11. The game will take place at 11 a.m. at the Utah Valley State College Mackay Center in Orem.
