Sue Dirks is the owner/operator of the Coffee Book Break. The Coffee Book Break was formerly known as Ev's Books-N-Things.

Sue got her start in the bookstore business with her mother, Evelyn Brown. She helped her mom out a few days a week. After her mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, Sue took ownership of the business herself. Due to several different circumstances Sue relocated her used book store from downtown Price, to 583 East Main in Price. This is when she added the Coffee Bar with the bookstore.

Sue offers a collection of over 10,000 gently used books as well as a delicious variety of Espresso drinks, both hot and cold freshly ground daily and many drinks are made without coffee.

Sue's main goal is to offer a warm, friendly, welcoming and comforting environment where anyone feels welcome to sit down, relax, chat a bit, and enjoy a delicious drink and maybe read a book or two. Why you ask? Because everyone needs a break and at The Coffee Book Break, "anytime is break time."
