Julianne's Upholstery

My name is Julianne Orth and I am the owner of Julianne's Upholstery. I am originally from West Valley City and my husband is from Sandy. I came to Price to play basketball for CEU and got into upholstery after I graduated. I opened my own shop about two and one half yrs ago.

A lot of people don't really know what an upholstery shop does, but it is hard to say all of the things that we do, a better question would be, what don't we do! We do things as large as furniture, automotive and boat upholstery to things as small as repairing a rip in a torn jacket. Basically anything that needs a heavy duty sewing machine to sew it, we do it. We have a variety of fabrics that most people don't even know exist. When people think of heavy duty fabric, they usually ask me for canvas, but we have better fabrics that will last longer than canvas, and are lighter weight. Usually if the customer tells me what they need the fabric for I can help them choose what is best.

If I were to say that we specialize in any one thing I would have to say furniture and automotive seats. I love helping people design the seats for their car they are customizing, or helping someone coordinate fabrics for their front room. If you don't want your furniture to look like everyone else's in the neighborhood, then recovering your old furniture is a great idea. I have thousands of fabric swatches to fit anyone's taste and personality. I also love recovering furniture or automobiles that have sentimental value. What better way to remember your grandma than to recover her old chair with a modern pattern to fit your home. It will become a memory that can be passed on to your kids. I always tell my customers that old furniture was built to last forever, and it really was!

A few other things that we do are Jeep window replacement, zipper replacement, motorcycle seats, ATV seats, exam tables, camper cushions, headliners, carpet replacement, in cars, boat covers, boat cover repairs, carpet binding, foam replacement and any other custom work you need using your design or mine. We also sell upholstery materials for people that want to do it themselves.

So stop by and we will make your stuff "like new, only better."

We are located at 280 West 100 North in Price, and you can contact us at 637-6210. Our email address is
