Carbon Stingrays finish in second place at baseball tourney

The Carbon Stingray baseball team who is comprised of 13 year old players, had a successful season this year.In fact, the team recently competed in the Rocky Mountain Baseball's Memorial Day Tournament. The Stingrays were undefeated at the tournament with a 6-0 record until the championship game in which the team fell to the Spanish Fork Dons.

The Carbon team is coached by Gary Jones and Rick Sandoval and is comprised of Angel Romero, Zac Jones, Jace Vetere, Kaleb Fail, Aaron Sandoval, Adam Archer, Colton Howes, JD Sherman, JJ Blue, Tyler Turcasso, Matt Sjogren, and Preston Lodeserdo.

The team members have travelled since last Labor Day from Price, Helper, Wellington, Green River, and Ferron to compete on the baseball team. The dedication and hard work paid off for these talented players this season.
