Fred Crogan will celebrate his 90th birthday Sept. 28.

A lifelong resident of Carbon County, he married Carol (Kelly) Larsen on May 29, 1947 and retired from U.S. Steel in 1981. He has two children, Steven of Taylorsville and Carrie (Vernon) White of Price. He has six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A birthday open house will be presented Sept. 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the White residence, 1150 N. 20 East, Price. In case of inclement weather, the open house will be in the Price Elks Lodge dining room.
