CHS Golfers Host Region Meet

The Carbon High golf team hosted a region home match last Thursday.
Carbon took second to Juan Diego to move them into second place in Region 8 play.
The team scores were Juan Diego 310, Carbon 313, Delta 321 to round out the top three finishers. Emery at 348 and North Sanpete at 375 brought up the rear.
Top individual for the scores for the Dinos were Shayne Burke 74, Ween Ngamketkamol 79, Jordan Pinedo 79, and Brett Johnson 81.
Other individual scores were Kevin Johnson 82, Corbin Black 88, Jason Child 89, and Geoff Vogel 90.
The next match will be on Sept. 14 at Delta.
Carbon is currently in second place overall, 28 shots ahead of Delta Thursdays play will be an important match.
