Thora K. Pickup O'Neil will celebrate her 80th birthday on Sept. 6.

She was born in Bennett and married Richard John O'Neil on Jan. 22, 1945. He passed away July 21, 1965.

She has four children, Michael (Linda) O'Neil, Lynn (Cindy) O'Neil and Kathy (Phillip) Medley, all of Price; and Lloyd O'Neil of Huntington. She has 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

She will celebrate the occasion with her family.

Alma Scovill will celebrate his 97th birthday at an open house on Sept. 9.

The birthday open house will be presented from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Green River City Park.

No gifts, please.
