Helper Arts Festival: Plein Aire

The Plein Aire Competition has now become a fixture at the Helper Art Festival. Each year artists come to the area and create art all in a timed atmosphere of about 24 hours. This year the overall winner was Jess Mauger with Scott Yelonek taking second and John Erickson in third place. The peoples choice award was Scott Yelonek. Honorable mentions went to Nancy Crookston, Matt Larson and Larry Clarkson. The amateur award went to Earl Erskine, and Dave Bowman and Candace Skrabut were tied for second.
