Amanda Alder
Jacob Steele

Curtis and Catherine Steele of Price announce the marriage of their son, Jacob Steele, to Amanda Alder, the daughter of Janet Alder of Millville and Larry Alder of Logan.

They were married June 29 in the Logan LDS Temple

The newlyweds will be honored at a garden open house July 8 at the Steele residence.

Jacob is the grandson of George and Margaret Conover and the late Duane and LaVern Steele.

Jacob and Amanda graduated from Utah State University, where they majored in exercise science pre-physical therapy.

The couple plan to make their home in Price later this year.


Tracy Hendricks
Troy Lessar

Elaine Roberts of Logan and Tom and Kathy Hendricks of Beaver announce the marriage of their daughter, Tracy Beth Hendricks, to Troy Paul Lessar, the son of John and Lynnette Lessar of Price.

The couple will be married July 8 in the St. George Catholic Church.

A reception will follow that evening at the St. George Ramada Inn from 4 to 8 p.m.

A private open house will be presented in the newlyweds honor July 15 at the Carbon County Fairgrounds Community Center.

The couple will make their home in LaVerkin.


Jessie Ipson
Adam Richens

Jeff and Amy Richens of Price announce the marriage of their son, Adam Richens, to Jessie Ipson, the daughter of Dave and Ruth Ipson of Vernal.

The couple will be married July 7 in the Vernal LDS Temple.

A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Davis 4th Ward LDS Chapel. An open house is planned July 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Old LDS Institute building in Price.

Adam graduated from Carbon High and College of Eastern Utah in 2003. He served in the New York North mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jessie graduated from Uintah High in 2003 and CEU in 2005 in cosmetology.

The couple will make their home in Price.


Nora Israelsen
William Valdez

Lorin and Alice Israelsen announce the marriage of their daughter, Nora Jean Israelsen, to William Valdez, the son of Victoria Herrera of Upland, Calif. They were married June 10 in Ontario, Calif.

Friends and family will honor the newlyweds at a reception July 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Castle Dale LDS Stake Center on Main Street.

Nora graduated from Emery High School in 1998 and College of Eastern Utah in 2000. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in English and secondary education while managing a home for mentally disabled men. Will grew up in Pico Rivera, Calif., and joined the United States Army after graduating from high school. He spent eight years in the U.S. Army and is now majoring in geology.

The couple will resident in Las Vegas, Nev., while they finish their schooling.


Amber Palm
Donald Withaar

Donald Lee Withaar and Amber Lee Palm of Phoenix, Ariz., were married April 21 at the Bella Vista Chapel in Scottsdale, Ariz.

A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor July 15 at Carbon Country Club in Price.

The bride is the daughter of Arthur and Cherie Palm of Price/Fort Smith, Ark., and the late Thomas Byrge. She is the granddaughter of Elvin and Beverly Byrge and the late Dominic and Janet Oliveto. The bride is a graduate of West Virginia University and is currently pursuing a career in nursing. The groom is the son of Marvin and Elaine Nuessle and the late Donald Withaar. He served in the United States Army and is a graduate of Rice Aviation. He has been employed with Southwest Airlines for 13 years.

The couple will make their home in Dallas, Texas.
