Elder Brandon Hansen has returned to the local area after serving in the Nebraska-Omaha mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elder Hansen will speak July 9 at 9 a.m. at the Huntington 5th LDS Ward.

Former Carbon County residents Elder Michael and Sister Clyda Harrison recently accepted a call to serve in the Russia-Rostov mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The couple left Utah last week to travel to Russia, where Elder Harrison will serve as the president of the Rostov LDS mission.
