Monte Carlo night raises funds for Helper pool

Helper hosted a night of Vegas-style games on Saturday. Proceeds from the event, including a complete liquor bar, went toward the city's proposed pool, set for construction this summer.

City Councilmember Dean Armstrong said that while attendance was lower than expected, most participants stayed through the evening. He said he felt the event was a success.
