Jeremy Gunter stands by the car he will be driving in Saturday nights demolition derby at the Carbon County Fairgrounds with Frank Pugliese, the commander of the Carbon County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Squad. The organization puts on the derby each year in June to raise money for equipment and materials for the organization which responds to all kinds of emergencies in the area that include everything from lost children to snow rescues. Pugliese says they expect to have over 30 cars participating in the derby this year and hopes many residents will come and see the fun. The event begins at 7 p.m.
