Carbon County Students Qualify for National Fbla Competition

Amelia Owen and Nicole Smith will participate in the national Future Business Leaders of America competition in June at Nashville, Tenn.

Last month, ninth grade students from Mont Harmon participating in the program and FBLA members from Carbon High traveled to Provo for the state competition. Owen placed second and Brandon Hyden took fourth in FBLA principles and procedures. Smith placed first in public speaking

Owen and Smith were the only two from Carbon School District to qualify at the state event to participate in the national FBLA competition.
