Construction crews treat outlying roads in Carbon County area

With warming temperatures, construction crews are treating many outlying roads in Carbon County. Wet winters often result in deep ruts and potholes, but the moisture controls dust. As temperatures rise, roads dry out and dust becomes a problem. To keep dust down and protect surfaces from weather conditions through the year, county crews often treat outlying roads with magnesium chloride.
