Emergency medical personnel and law enforcement officials assist an injured individual at the scene of an auto-pedestrian accident on U.S. Highway 6. The incident purportedly occurred after a motorist stopped on the shoulder of the highway to inspect a tire on the driver side of a pickup truck hauling a trailer. Utah Highway Patrol troopers responding to the scene indicated that a white vehicle passing the truck reportedly struck one of the individuals, who was described as a 30-year-old male subject. The collision reportedly broke the man's leg and resulted in other lacerations and injuries. The unidentified victim was transported by county ambulance to Castleview Hospital for medical treatment.
