Both the Helper and Price World Boys Baseball Association teams will be leading off their seasons on Saturday with parades, food and of course, baseball games.

Price will have its annual parade down Main Street starting at 9 a.m. The parade begins at 400 East and Main as the teams walk the walk toward some good food and later games at the cities ball parks.

Helper will reach back into the past for its opening day. Gary Wilson, a retired Carbon School District educator, will toss out the ceremonial first pitch for opening day at Walt Borla Field.

Wilson, as a 12 year old Kenilworth resident in 1952, pitched the very first little league game ever played in Helper as a member of the Mutual Furniture team that year.

The parade for Helper will begin at 9 a.m. with the line up starting at R&A Market.

At 10 a.m. there will be a pancake feast at the field and photos will be taken at that time also.

Opening ceremonies will take place at 11 a.m. The games will begin at noon.
